The Earthling Saiyan had been floating in the whereabouts of the snowy highlands; mostly for no reason but out of boredom and for the sake of checking out a place that wasn’t just a bunch of green forests and lands, even if he had to say; it was rather monotonous. Not like the forests were that different from another in most cases, but at least there’d be something else other than snow! The Highlands were pretty much desertic wastelands-- just a lot windier and with some snow here and there, and that wasn’t anything he’d say to be ‘unique.’
The very same buildings in West City were completely white colored after all! However, while the highlands were quite the boring place, the North itself was surrounded by places that he had never heard of as a child-- mostly because it was before the incident with Zenou-sama, back then when the entity's powerful Ki had managed to fuse each planet with the other. By what they had told him, it seemed that the capital of the Frost Empire had apparently moved there. He couldn't say that he was fond of the idea; as much as he hadn’t ever met one before, the Earthling Saiyan had heard of their evil nature, and he didn’t like the idea of having them on Earth.
“Yep… I regret coming here now. I could at least have stopped by the city to eat something.” - he said to himself, letting out a sharp exhale as he folded his arms over his chest. As a Saiyan, he was quite sensible to feelings such as hunger; not to mention that in the worst case scenario, he’d feel his strength dropping, feeling much weaker than usual. Thankfully, he had eaten something even before he thought of going out on this ‘trip’-- or so one could define it.
On the other hand, the only thing he could experience there was the low temperature that sent shivers down his spine every now and then, which was annoying. Cornatto wasn’t used to it at all; he had always been roaming in the whereabouts of the East and the South after all. He had barely ever been in the North, mostly because he had never thought that there’d be anything interesting in the first place. But, well, maybe he could make a good training out of it-- cold resistance and stuff like that?
At that point, he was considering just to fly off or maybe check out for the places in the surroundings such as Ize, or anywhere else he’d find a living being. Or seriously anything he could interact with or do something other than just flying around while taking a look at how good old mother nature had shaped some of the mountains and the lands filled with snow.
“I’d have put on something heavier before coming here…” - he muttered under his breath, and it was a fair point; he wore nothing else other than his usual martial arts outfit, also known as dogi. The only thing that was warm at the moment was his tail which he had tightly wrapped around his waist. But, he decided to keep it up and float around to see if he’d find something-- or someone in the whereabouts.

Tsuana had went north after the incident in West City. Ironic, given what had unfolded, but the halfblood had some business this way. A friend, or rather an acquaintance, had asked Tsuana to come up and help him with a little work. Simple stuff, by the sound of it, and there was likely something in it for him. A few zeni, a hot meal, something to make it worth his time. After all, thought Tsuana as he flew through the air and shivered against the cold, the young hybrid was taking time out of his travels and cutting through what had now become Frost Demon territory. And Tsuana hated Frost Demons, the contemptible giant igaunas that they were.
But as Tsuana flew, chilly wind whipping at his sky-blue hair and causing tears to swell in the corner of his eyes, Tsuana felt a powerful ki signature brush against his mind. Well, relatively powerful, compared to much of the population of this new Earth. He slowed himself to a stop in air, and cocked his head in the direction of the energy. His brown Saiyan tail unfurled and swayed nonchalantly behind him, kept warm by the layer of fur that ran over it. Tsuana himself was dressed warmly enough, but still a shiver ran down his spine, working its way through him like ice does beneath concrete. If he kept moving, he could reach his acquaintance's location before long. But the Saiyan part of him was now staring at the horizon with rapt attention, and in the pit of his heart, he knew that he was going to be a little late today.
Almost instinctively, Tsuana launched himself in the direction of the ki signature, flying towards it with a great speed. The snow covered ground turned to an ice-white stream of color and landscape beneath him as he flew. Were he to stare at it long, he might get the snow-blindness. But the sea of white was suddenly pierced by a figure: a man with a blue gi. The man certainly did not look dressed for the weather. Tsuana knew that this man was the source of the energy, the energy now bristling against his mind due to the proximity of the mysterious stranger. Tsuana drew closer, slowing his flight to a casual pace now. "Hey!" He called out, "What brings you out this way, friend?"

The Earthling Saiyan couldn’t do much-- or rather, didn’t have anything else to do other than just floating around without much of a destination other than nothing! There wasn’t truly much to look at in such a dead and empty place. Not to mention the fact that it was windy and the Saiyan wasn’t used to an environment like that, but he was pretty sure that most people wouldn’t be unless they were naturally resistant to such conditions-- which was the case for Namekians if he remembered correctly. Or he could be wrong; he didn’t even know. It had just been a while since he had met a Namekian, he didn’t hang out wherever they resided so for him, one was a rare sight.
However, that day someone did indeed show up and while it wasn’t a Frost Demon-- just like one would expect from the location Cornatto had been exploring; the north, where the capital Ize was now located and where, the Earthling Saiyan assumed, most of them would reside. No, this time it was… seemingly an earthling just like himself, however, this one had a tail too, so that meant that both warriors had Saiyan genes in their blood.
But, he immediately took note of his unusual hair color that wasn’t common within pure-blood Saiyans heritages, such could only mean that the man was by no means a pure blood but a combination of two different species; a hybrid. Either way, Tsuana seemed a pretty friendly one-- even if Cornatto wasn’t entirely sure whether it was a he or a she, but that was probably something that the boy was used to being asked; Cornatto couldn’t obviously be the only one to think that.
“Ossu! (“Yo!”)” - exclaimed the man, no more flying around but floating in mid air as he looked at Tsuana.
“What’cha doing out here?”

As Tsuana came closer, it was with great surprise, and perhaps delight, that he saw the man was a Saiyan too. The telltale tail at the man's waist was the only clue he needed; the man he'd randomly encountered was a Saiyan, or at least partly one. Regardless of the status of his genes, the mere presence of that wriggly brown tail was enough to keep Tsuana's interest.
A gust of icy wind bore down on him as he continued his approach, setting his blue hair to flapping. Tsuana stumbled through air, wrestling his hair back into place all the while. His frustration grew, perhaps exuberant by the chilling wind. Tsuana had oft heard the phrase 'long hair, don't care', but he certainly did now. He was willing to bet the other Saiyan did not have this issue: his hair was short, black, and cropped, and looked almost like a palm tree. But Tsuana offered the man a bow, hair still flapping, as he came closer.
He lifted his face, now red with stinging cold, up towards the man, his own gold eyes peering into the black Saiyans orbs of the other man. He searched the eyes for signs of emotion or intent; Tsuana thought he seemed welcoming enough. "Nothin' much," exclaimed Tsuana, using his outdoor voice, "I was just flying towards a settlement when I felt your energy. And, well, it caught my eye, so to speak. You're a strong guy, you know, and there's this part of me that can't pass up seeking out people like you."
Tsuana flashed his pearly whites, giving a wide, toothy grin that ought to show he meant no harm. As he smiled, he drew his own well-worn travel jacket tighter around his lithe, but ultimately male, form, trying to shut out the cold that was creeping up on him like iced ivy. How could the man stand to be dressed so... casually?
"The name's Tsuana, by the way," he said, a puff of warm breath forming a fog as he spoke, "Good to meet you!"
