Zen-Oh -- King of All and the single most important and powerful person within existence. Known for destroying six universes due to him being in a bad mood, everyone did what they possibly could to appease Zen-Oh. After all, if they didn't, they would be wiped from existence at a second's notice. Even the gods themselves were ultimately powerless to Zen-Oh. To Zen-Oh, nothing else mattered except for his own amusement, whether it was destroying planets, demanding other universes to fight for his entertainment or merely erasing someone from existence just because they annoyed him. Eventually, the Kais and the gods rebelled against Zen-Oh in an effort to end his amoral and tyrannical reign. Enraged, Zen-Oh threatened to erase everything from existence. However, when he tried, his plan backfired. His own energy had grown so unruly and volatile that it literally destroyed Zen-Oh in his entirety. The energy then spread all throughout the universes -- the living universe and the Other World -- warping space and altering reality. Suddenly, Earth became fused with planets Vegeta, Namek and Ize and the Demon Realm, forming an Earth that was an interesting combination of all five locations. Not only that, but the Zen-Oh's energy lingered all throughout the universe, no doubt sending the universe into a spiral of chaos and confusion.

However, that wasn't all. Zen-Oh's Omni ki was now free and without an owner. Anyone who could claim it would inherit Zen-Oh's power and be deemed the new King of All. It was much easier said than done though. Zen-Oh's Omni Ki was essentially blocked off and hidden, unable to be reached by anyone, even the Kais and gods. The Kais debated leaving the energy alone but decided against it. It was too dangerous to simply let Zen-Oh's volatile energy run rampant; someone had to come take it. But who? The Kais then decided to spread the news all throughout the universe in an effort to find a suitable candidate to become the new King of All. The challenge was simple: if they could find Zen-Oh's Omni Ki, they would be able to take it for themselves and be crowned the new King of All. The universes were then sent into a mad dash, birthing a new area of fighters and exploration.

It was a race for the title of King of All.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

» This RP takes place on a singular planet: Earth. However, Earth has been combined with Vegeta, Namek, Ize and the Demon Realm, turning it into quite the diverse planet. The search for Zen-Oh's Omni Ki has lasted for twenty years and is considered to be common knowledge.
» Due to Zen-Oh's powerful energy being all throughout the universe, destroying Earth is frankly not possible. The reason for this is that Zen-Oh's energy would simply overpower whatever energy is trying to destroy the planet, thus reducing its destructive potential immensely. A normally planet-busting attack would be reduced to one that can destroy a large region.
» Space travel is generally not advised; ships and its passengers have been known to be literally wiped from existence when passing through areas with very high concentrations of Zen-Oh's energy.
