Here manus is, in the largest city of the northern region on the new earth. The north capital was huge in its own rights. Surrounded by huge mountains made travel to and from very difficult unless it was done by air. Even by those standards, people still came to and from the city like crazy to enjoy the attractions that it held.
Manus had missed a lot of the time due to the procedure that he had done to himself. After dying from his horrible disease and now being well, and fully alive, he left his old life with it. He had no family or friends tied to this new life he was living. So he spends his days traveling along the streets of North city. Enjoying the sites and snow.
Today was just like any other . Manus would wonder around his apartment room. Looking out the window at the mountain range as the sun rises up and over. The light begins to reflect off the snow and ice, but is never warm enough to cause it to melt. That was one good thing about his new condition. The outside temperature didn’t effect him very much.
Manus dressed up. His slacks and tight fitting black shirt along with his dress shoes worked well. He didn’t want to seem as a slouch around here. Besides, he made well off for himself in the gambling world of other cities. He along with the suit, and pulling his hair back ,was ready to go.
He wasn’t quite sure what he was going to do today. It was still early in the morning and many things could happen. Out the door he went, out into the town walking along the sidewalks ,passing all the people headed to their respective jobs. Manus would acknowledge a few as he passed, but he didn’t really know anyone.
He wasnt sure at all what he was going to end up doing today. He figured he would just walk along and enjoy himself on a peaceful day in the north.

Dill Barret found himself speeding around on the streets of the North Capitol. He had been here once before, a long time agowhen he was a little kid. It was when his father was still alive… But everything seems so much… grander when you’re older and can really process what’s going on around you. Now that he could actually appreciate the views, he found himself enjoying the city.
Dill was driving around on his Green Machine, which was a beat up ol’ jalopy of a hover car. If you could call it that. It lacked a windshield (or any kind of enclosure) and had its fair share of rust spots riddling its body. It was more like a hover bike, or a speeder. The teen himself was wearing regular street clothes, just simple black jeans with a navy blue t-shirt. He also had a black headband keeping his hair out of his face. And of course, a jacket guarding him from the cold.
But underneath his clothes he also work his Ki Suit, the tight red spandex suit that funneled and enhanced ki in his body. His normal unassuming backpack housed the actual Ki Battery, as well as the helmet to his suit. All it would take was a fast hook up to get the suit fully operational. Dill had come here in search of a very particular part, he had worked all summer saving up for it. It would allow his Green Machine to actually fly for short periods of time, saving him a ticket for the return trip home.
His mother didn’t like the idea of him traveling on his own, but thanks to his charming (begging) and the speed of modern travel, Dill was able to convince his mother to let him take a short trip to the North City. So long as he didn't neglect his studies. Dill was overtaken by the beauty of the mountains that encircled North City. So much so that he didn’t notice a man crossing the road up ahead. The young teen slammed on his breaks and came to a screeching halt just INCHES from Manus. “Oh no...” Dill couldn’t help but say, after all, he didn’t even have a license!

Manus was walking along down the side walk of one of the main roads down through the city. There was still snow on the ground, from the last snow fall a few a days before. Hover vehicles were making their way up and down the road. It was rather busy this morning. Soon enough there was a gap in traffic so manus decided he would cross over. Suddenly from around the turn, and moving fairly quickly apparently one person didn’t seem him crossing.
The person slammed on the breaks and came to a grinding halt, but not before inching close enough for manus to place his hand on the front of the vehicle and jump backwards slightly with it , as it came to its stop. Manus landed back on his feet, and looking at the shocked and scared kid. He probably thought the whole time he was about to kill someone “ hey kid? What gives? Do you know how to pay attention to the roads out in front of you? I mean, this is a pretty busy street and all.” Manus would say with a slight touch of sarcasm. He knew he wouldn’t have been hurt if the vehicle hit him, but the boy didn’t know that. Manus wanted to keep it that way.
Manus walked around to the side of the vehicle and looked at the young man driving. "What we in such a hurry for? You dont seem like the type that lives up here are you?

Dill stared at Manus with a look of pure shock on his face. He was frozen for a moment before his brain started to reboot. “I-I d” he was having trouble forming complete sentences. Red Rocker had only been driving for under a year at this point. And it was hard to get a lot of practice in when you’re driving illegally. But Manus continued on, asking him why he was in a hurry and if he was a Northern. “N-no, I’m from West City… I came here for a part for my Green Machine here” he said while patting the tin can he straddled with a *TING* every time his hand slapped it.
It looked like a green jalopy, but looks can be deceiving. “The part was a particularly powerful Repulsor Modulator. Some guy was selling it on the Net but he didn’t want to ship it. Which is understandable, it’s a pretty delicate instrument, it would probably cost a lot to ship it safely. But I just wouldn’t let the deal pass me by. I saved all summer for a Repulsor Modulator and still didn’t have enough. So I definitely wasn't going to let one that was half price pass me by!” the boy was nervously rambling. All while the two of them were still standing in the middle of the road.

Manus stood there infront of the vehicle that the young guy just nearly hit him with. He listened to him ramble on about why he was there and the thing he was after. Other vehicles started to move around and pass them, some honking their horns at them and so forth.
"So, do you know where this so call part is at?"
Manus didnt really know what to do or say about this situation. The kid obviously was nervious about the situation, and he didnt hit him, or cause any damage to anything. So manus figured to let him head on his way. There was really no reason to keep him held up.
I like you , Kid, head on and get what it was you came up here for. Be careful and watch out for people. This is a busy city, and most folks dont look out for others. Plus if your ever need anything around north city. Dont be scared to call me up. Speaking of, my name is manus. I live here in north city.
Manus placed his hands in his pocket as he stepped back up on the sidewalk and waited for the kid to drive off.
