In the north, a Zoan bandit by the name of Peltaro has been running amok. The bandit prowls the trade routes, striking at the occasional truck carrying trade goods. Law enforcement in the region has been pursuing the bandit for the past several months, but the man was proven a difficult quarry. However, recently, law enforcement has managed to track the Zoan to his hideout: a fortified camp in the frozen forests of the Spires. Local law enforcement has made an attempt to capture the man, but there is one wrinkle: the man is a competent martial artist, commanding mastery over the force of ki.
As such, law enforcement has recently put the word out that they are looking for assistance in this matter, be it from bounty hunters or vigilante. And that is how the adventurers come into the fold: for their own reasons, they come to the Spires where the police have set-up a small outpost during their pursuit of Peltaro. There, they will meet with an officer of the law and pursue Peltaro and bring him to justice, or at least that is the plan. In exchange, those who assist have been offered some zeni in compensation. However, it should be known that they ought be ready for a fight, as Peltaro has a history of violence. The man is considered a threat and has taken many innocent lives in his own selfish pursuits.
